How to play Solitaire (Turn 3)
This is Klondike Solitaire, turning three cards from the stock at a time. You can only play the top card of the three. The goal and the building rules match one-card Solitaire.
- Build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
- In the seven piles, place cards in descending order, alternating red and black. Only a King, or a run that starts with a King, can go into an empty pile.
- When the stock runs out, tap it to turn the waste back over. There is no limit on passes.
- To move a card, tap it, then tap where it should go.
Undo has no limit, and safe cards move to the foundations for you. Your game is saved on this device.
Keyboard
Arrow keys move between cards and piles. Enter or Space selects and places a card. D draws, H shows a hint, Escape cancels, and Ctrl+Z undoes a move.
Questions
Is turn 3 harder than turn 1?
Yes. You can only play the top card of each group of three, so some cards stay buried until a later pass. You can go through the stock as many times as you like.
Can every daily deal be won?
Yes. A computer solver checks each daily deal before we publish it. Ordinary deals are random, and some of those can't be won.
